Our school office staff are here to help you; however here are a few items that may be useful to parents and carers which you can view or download from our website.
Change of address
It is vitally important that we have up to date contact information for parents and carers. Please complete the form at the bottom of the page if you change address or telephone numbers. Following Covid-safe guidance, this can also be undertaken by telephoning Mrs Lofthouse in the School Office, or by sending the details via email.
Our current school day timings are staggered to allow for socially distanced drop off and collection.
Key Stage 1 pupils have a morning break, a lunchtime of 1 hour and 15 minutes and an afternoon breaktime. Key Stage 2 pupils have a morning break and an hour long lunchtime. Our breaktime and lunchtime spaces are also allocated and scheduled to ensure pupil safety throughout the day (as no class ‘bubble’ can access the same space at the same time).
We also offer numerous options for wrap-around care.
If your child is absent from school please send an email to the school office or telephone Mrs Lofthouse to let us know why your child will not be in school that day. We have provided further information regarding our approach to holidays taken during term-time on the School Holidays page.
Whilst we try our best to address all situations carefully and correctly, should you feel the need to make a complaint you can find out how through our Complaints Policy which you can find in the School Policies section of our website.
The government currently fund free milk, daily, for children in school until their 5th birthday. For children aged 5 and over, ‘Cool Milk’ can provide healthy, nutritious school milk daily for approximately £14 a term. If parents would like their child to have milk daily, please register with ‘Cool Milk’, using the link.
Children over 5, whose parents are in receipt of certain benefits and are entitled to Free School Meals, can be provided with milk, free of charge. Please contact the school office if you would like to arrange this.
Medication in School
Medication can only be administered in school if it is prescribed by a doctor and a ‘Medication in School Form’ has been completed and signed by a parent.
