AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS
Sports After school clubs with Mr Graham run from 3.15-4.15 every day. Each day is a different sport with Multi Skills games on Mondays and Wednesdays, Football is on Tuesdays, Dodgeball is on Thursdays & Apparatus and Gymnastics on Fridays. After schools Clubs are open to all year groups & all sporting abilities as the main aim of these clubs is total enjoyment.
GARDENING CLUBS
Gardening Club takes place on Mondays. Mrs Dubre and Mrs Ford run Gardening Club from 3.30pm until 4.30pm and it is available to Key Stage 2 children.
Our aim is to improve our school grounds whilst learning about growing plants and caring for our environment. We take great pride in tending to our school allotment and harvesting some delicious fruit and vegetables. We can be found completing a wide range of tasks from planting bulbs in recycled bean cans to making cosy bird boxes and feeders during the winter months.
COOKERY CLUB
Mrs Bainbridge, Mrs McPherson and Mrs Bradbury run our Cookery Club on Thursdays for a group of Year 3 children.
Our Year 3 children have a lot of fun in cookery club. They develop many skills including cutting, grating, frying and the best bit………….EATING!!
Cooking up delights such as chocolate fruit, pizza muffins, chicken curry and more!!
LUNCH CLUBS
Sports lunch clubs are run by Mr Graham on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays are for Year 1s and 2s, Wednesdays are for years 3 and 4 and on Thursdays Years 5 and 6 can take part. Sports lunch clubs are there for any children who want to play some structured fun games during their lunch break. Children can come in and out of the club as they wish and the main focus of the club is to try some new games and get as many children active in a variety of different sports.
