Every class voted two of pupils to represent them on our school council. There are children from every year group involved, they make numerous decisions about school events and rules. The councillors share the views of their class in the meetings and Mrs Curry shares their thoughts with the staff when decisions are being made - pupil voice is very important to us and we value the views of the children.

School Council Easter Fun!!!

SchoolCouncil on: School Council News

Two weeks ago our school council members decided that we would have an Easter raffle and guess how many eggs are in the jar competition (the raffle tickets are 10p a ticket and 20p to guess how many eggs are in the jar.)

We also started a knitting campaign where some of our members and their families knitted tiny chicks, which we stuffed with a small Easter egg and offered for sale in school. Following from the successful parents evening sale the Easter chicks with delectable chocolate eggs inside continue to sell for just £1.00! (If anybody would like a knitting pattern to make some for our school contact Mrs Dubre for more information.)

The money raised from all the different events will go to school funds. Excitingly, the Easter raffle winner will be announced on the last day of term, we will be also be hosting an annual family Easter egg decorating competition on the afternoon of the  22nd of March - all welcome!
